What is a blockchain?

A blockchain is a list of transactions that anyone can view and verify. Companies like holoride can use this technology to provide additional benefits and enhanced user engagement.

A blockchain is a list of transactions that anyone can view and verify. The Bitcoin blockchain, for example, contains a record of every time someone sent or received bitcoin.

A blockchain operates independently of a central authority and is controlled by a network of computers around the world. When a transaction is submitted to the network, it is first verified, and then recorded onto an electronic ledger (database). Once recorded in this ledger, the transaction is permanently shared across all the computers on the network, making it difficult to hack or tamper with.

MultiversX (formerly Elrond) is a highly scalable, secure and decentralized blockchain network. It is created to enable radically new applications, for users, businesses, society, and the new metaverse frontier.

The eGold (EGLD) Token is the native token powering the MultiversX Network. Its utility comprises all core network functionalities, such as staking, governance, transactions, smart contracts, and validator rewards.

This provides a strong foundation for RIDE, the utility token of the holoride platform. Learn more about RIDE here.
